2 lines!

dear God,

thank you, thank you, thank you for all your blessings…..especially this little miracle! we have been praying and our prayers were answered this morning when i took a pregnancy test and saw TWO LINES! we are pregnant! Lord, i am forever grateful! thank you for blessing us with this life!

 

my very first blog post! let’s get started:

jae and i decided back in june that we wanted to definitely start a family so with that said, we started trying to conceive. in july, i borrowed a saliva fertility test from my already-prego friend and started tracking my ovulation. after 2 months of disappointment, i started to doubt my ability to conceive but continued to pray.

i was supposed to start my period this past tuesday but to my surprise, did not i felt cramps and was sure i was about to get it but it still hadn’t come after 3 days. i decided i should take a pregnancy test but wanted to wait a little longer to make sure i didn’t start. my nerves & anxiety got to me and i caved!

woke up this morning around 3:30am and saw jae was still awake. i immediately had to pee and asked jae what he thought about me taking the test…he said to take it. took the test and almost immediately, i saw 2 lines on the result screen! i couldn’t believe it!  WE ARE PREGNANT!  i  have been awake since taking the test….giddy with excitement!

*before taking the test: i went ahead and called my gyno yesterday (since it takes a while to get an appt) and decided to make an appointment for oct. 21 just in case i was prego. now that i got a positive preg test, we are set to confirm the pregnancy on oct. 21. can’t wait!

ps. decided to wait until after oct. 21 to tell only our immediate family. will decide later when to announce our pregnancy to the rest of the world!
